Fredericksburg’s History and Legacy of Slavery: A Juneteenth Conversation

In celebration of Juneteenth, Dr. Gaila Sims, Curator of African American History and Special Projects at the Fredericksburg Area Museum, will host a conversation on enslavement and emancipation. Dr. Sims will be joined by Mr. Willy “Sonny” Holmes and Ms. Alexa McNeil for an enlightening discussion on the history and legacies of slavery in this region.
