At-Home Archivists

We all have objects that we treasure. Whether it’s a cherished family heirloom, a photo album full of childhood memories, or a heartfelt gift from a loved one, these items are often susceptible to degradation over time and require special care to ensure their longevity. Join our curators on Thursday, August 15th from 6:00-7:30 PM as we discuss best practices for taking care of your keepsakes and heirlooms at home. We will cover how you can protect and preserve your photographs, newspapers, books, ephemera, textiles, and more! You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about objects and care! See you there!
Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased through Eventbrite.
At-Home Archivist Flyer. On the left of the flyer there is old photographs on a scrapbook, a old book that is open, and a cassette tape. On the right of the flyer there is a description of the event with location and time.
