The Old Dominion Humane Society (ODHS) rescue pups will be at CrossFit Forward in Fredericksburg for Puppy Yoga from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22. The public is invited for one hour of stretching and cuddling with puppies, and the price is $20 per person; $35 for a pair (bring a significant other, best friend or child); and additional discounts for families.
CrossFit Forward will donate 50 percent of the proceeds to ODHS’s rescue dogs.
“The opportunity to get out on a Saturday morning and start the day off with exercise is so healthy,” said Chrissy Blake, ODHS founder. “Our adorable rescue puppies that are up for adoption will provide the backdrop for a fun session. ODHS appreciates CrossFit for hosting Puppy Yoga and donating to the rescue dogs, and it will go a long way in helping with veterinarian costs, food and the many expenses that go into ensuring they’re happy, safe and ready to be adopted to their forever families.”
CrossFit Forward is located at 5933 Plank Road, Suite J, in Fredericksburg.
ODHS is located at 3602 Lafayette Boulevard in Fredericksburg. Adoption events are Wednesdays from 5-7 p.m., Fridays from 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays from 11-3 p.m. Applications in advance are preferred and take priority over walk-ins.
