One of the City’s most fun and delicious events returns to the Fredericksburg Convention Center on Saturday, May 23rd: Fredericksburg’s Food & Wine Expo. Purchase tickets and arrive at the Convention Center at 11am, where you can enjoy scrumptious, local food and prestigious, revered wines.
“The Wine & Food Expo is going to be a fun event for all,” Casey Silversmith, Director of Sales and Events for the Convention Center, said. “We’ve arranged a phenomenal lineup of local restaurants who will showcase their signature flavors and offer samples of their delicious food.”
The Wine & Food Expo will also feature local caterers, who will provide gourmet dishes to attendees. Many wineries, cideries and distilleries will be offering tastings, including Rogers Ford Farm Winery, Cobbler Mountain Hard Cider, and Cirrus Vodka. Some of the participating local restaurants include Always Flavored, The Alpine Chef, and Billikens Smokehouse.
The Wine & Food Expo is one of the countless exciting events hosted in Fredericksburg this year, many of which are held at the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds. In addition to the Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair, which will run from Thursday, July 27th-Sunday, August 6th, the Fairgrounds will be home to the FXBG Spring Brew Fest on April 6th, Reptile Show on April 13th and August 24th, FXBG Car Show on June 1st, and FXBG Chili Fest on October 5th.
“We encourage everyone to come enjoy all the different events that FXBG Fairgrounds has to offer,” Jeremy Bullock, Joint CEO of Cheers Events at Fredericksburg Fairgrounds, said. “If you have any questions, please drop us a line.”
