Meet Me at the Met Camp is a combination of collage in the morning and painting in the afternoon.
In the morning campers use child-choice to layer photographs, paper, stickers, and fabric with Mod Podge, then take creativity into three dimensions by building assemblage art from fascinating finds like knobs, hinges, chains, watches, and old camera parts.
In the afternoon campers explore watercolor, tempera, and acrylic on canvas using child-choice, open-ended approaches, and even create at their own easel—ready to take home and keep.
Friday morning features a special outdoor art day and a joyful art show where families can admire all of the week’s creations.
