If Revolutionary history is your kind of evening, join us Thursday, July 9 as our free history speaker series Virginia By The Glass begins with author and historian Jane Hampton Cook.
Virginia By The Glass sessions are held at 1781 Brewing Company and Wilderness Run Vineyards, and are part of our VA250 commemorative programming in Spotsylvania County.
This new history storytelling series features historians and educators sharing Virginia history, local history, and the American experience. Guests can expect an easy evening on the farm with time to meet the speaker, ask questions, and continue the conversation afterward. Craft beer, Virginia wine, and cigars will be available on site. Guests are welcome to bring food, or order from nearby restaurants that regularly deliver to the farm. We’ll have charcuterie and cheese boxes available for purchase.
The series also features several VA250-inspired beer releases from the brewery:
- Lafayette Saison
- Von Steuben Kölsch
- Red Coat English Golden Pub Ale
