On Saturday, August 31, 2024, experience living history at the Fredericksburg Battlefield. Park staff and volunteers will wear authentic clothing and equipment to demonstrate the appearance of soldiers at Fredericksburg in 1862. Interact with the historical interpreters to learn more about the experience of those who lived during the Civil War.
The event will occur from 10am to 4pm at Sunken Road, adjacent to the Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitor Center at 1013 Lafayette Boulevard.
All programs are family friendly, free of charge, and open to the public.
