Know Before You Go: The Fredericksburg Candlelight Tour 2025
Get ready as the 55th Annual Holiday Candlelight Tour lights up the town! Hosted by the Historic Fredericksburg Foundation, Inc. (HFFI), this beloved tradition lets you step back in time, explore historic homes, and soak up the festive spirit. Here’s everything you need to know before you go!

- Saturday, December 13, 2025 – 11am to 4pm
- Sunday, December 14, 2025 – 12pm to 4pm
📍 Location
The tour takes place at 18th-century Fredericksburg sites:
- Mary Washington House
- Fielding Lewis Store
- James Monroe Museum
- St. George’s Episcopal Church
- Silversmith’s House
- The Richard Johnston Inn
🏛️ What to Expect
- Each site will be decorated with festive, historically-inspired holiday décor.
- Volunteer guides will share the history and stories behind each property.
🚎 Getting around
- Trolley Tours of Fredericksburg will be making stops around the tour stops and downtown so you can enjoy shopping and eating before or after you tour.

Tickets allow you to visit each sire once during the weekend.
