Get ready as the 54th Annual Holiday Candlelight Tour lights up the town! Hosted by the Historic Fredericksburg Foundation, Inc. (HFFI), this beloved tradition lets you step back in time, explore historic homes, and soak up the festive spirit. Here’s everything you need to know before you go!

📅 Dates & Times

  • Saturday, December 14, 2024 – 10am to 5pm
  • Sunday, December 15, 2024 – 10am to 5pm

📍 Location

The tour takes place in Fredericksburg’s historic downtown district, featuring homes on:

  • 400-600 blocks of Fauquier Street
  • 1200 blocks of Charles, Prince Edward, Princess Anne, and Winchester Streets

🏛️ What to Expect

  • Nine stunning historic homes on the tour:
    • Eight full interior tours.
    • One special exterior tour.
  • Each home will be decorated with festive, historically-inspired holiday décor.
  • Volunteer guides will share the history and stories behind each property.

    • The Lewis Store (1200 Caroline Street)
    • Check-In Tent (400 block of Fauquier Street)

Tickets allow you to visit each home once during the weekend.

🚶‍♀️ Tips for a Smooth Visit

  1. Wear Comfortable Shoes – You’ll be walking through historic streets and homes.
  2. Plan for Weather – Dress in layers and bring an umbrella just in case!
  3. Check-In Locations– Check-in tent (400 block of Fauquier Street) or Lewis Store (1200 Caroline Street)
  4. Photography – Respect each home’s rules on photography.
  5. Take the Shuttle – Stop at the Visitor for public restrooms. The Visitor Center is open Saturday 9am to 8pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm.
