As part of our support of the arts community, and the community at large, Dance Matrix & Company will be presenting a multi-artist event with the intention of raising awareness and funds for Fairy Godmother Project.
Local adult performing artists have been invited to create and submit their own pieces along the themes chosen to relate to the mission of FGP: Facing Loss/Courageousness/Healing with Compassion. These themes were chosen to relate to the mission of Fairy Godmother Project a local Fredericksburg non-profit organization, who we will be supporting with net proceeds from this show.
DMC will be presenting a new Modern Dance work called, “Quest of the Dream Warrior, Kyla’s Journey.” A 30 minute dance-theater work that will tell the story of a young girl moving forward through her fears to save her town.
