Join us for Barks & Recreation, a fun-filled monthly event series at the Fredericksburg Dog Park, happening every second Thursday from April through October, from 6-8 pm.
Each month features a unique theme or activity designed to keep tails wagging and paws playing! From themed costume nights and ice cream socials to yappy hours and sprinkler parties, something is exciting for every pup and their human. Bring your furry friends, meet fellow dog lovers, and make every second Thursday evening a new adventure!
April 9- Yappy Hour: A brew for you and your doggy too!
May 14- DIY Dog Toy: Make a chew toy even the pickiest of pups will love to play with! All supplies provided to make a rope & a tennis ball toy.
June 11- Doggy Ice Cream Social: Cool off with frozen treats for humans and pups alike!
July 9- Patriotic Pawlooza Paint & Play: Bring Fido to the Fredericksburg Dog Park for a fun, patriotic-themed craft. We promise no paws will be painted in the making of these masterpieces!
August 13- End of Summer Splash Pawty: Splash, bark, and play the summer away!
September 10- Back to School Basic Manners Training: Treats, training, & tons of fun! Bring new or lightly used dog toys & accessories for a donation to the SPCA.
October 8- Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest: Dress your dogs in their spookiest or silliest costumes and get ready for a howling good time!
