Bloomia, one of the nation’s largest premier tulip growers, is thrilled to announce the launch of its spectacular Bloomia Tulip Festival, opening to the public on April 3-4, 11–12 and April 18-19. Featuring one million tulips in bloom over seven acres, the festival invites visitors from across the Mid-Atlantic to experience a breathtaking floral landscape just 70 miles from Washington, D.C., 60 miles from Richmond, VA and 90 miles from Baltimore, MD.
The Bloomia Tulip Festival highlights include:
- Pick-Your-Own Fields: Guests can select and harvest their favorite tulip varieties to take home.
- Immersive Photo Ops: Specially designed installations and panoramic views across the one-million-tulip landscape.
- Food & Drink: Local food trucks offering seasonal treats, alongside a Beer & Wine Garden for guests 21+.
- Live Entertainment: Performances by local musicians throughout the day.
- Workshops: Floral design classes led by renown floral designer, Kelly Shore of Petals by the Shore. Kelly will show you how to arrange your freshly picked tulips.
