Fredericksburg Concert Band “Give Thanks: Sacred Music in a New Light”

Join the Fredericksburg Concert Band as we perform symphonic arrangements of popular sacred hymns done in various musical styles: Celtic, New Orleans jazz, fanfare, and reflective chorales, all with different tempos and structures. A highlight will be the Maslanka masterpiece ‘Give Us This Day’ and a salute to veterans with ‘Eternal Father, Strong to Save’. The performance closes with a beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace with solo bagpipe accompaniment.
