Free Virtual Naloxone Training

Rappahannock Area Community Services Board has partnered with the Virginia Department of Health to make naloxone available to lay rescuers to reverse opioid overdoses. Opioids include illicit medications like hydrocodone and oxycodone, in addition to illicit drugs like heroin.

This harm reduction initiative trains individuals on what to do and not do in an overdose situation, how to administer naloxone, and what to do afterwards. Each attendee also receives a free kit, which includes all the supplies needed to administer naloxone.  The training lasts approximately 1-hour. Following the training, RACSB will dispense free naloxone to attendees.

Virtual trainings will be held via Zoom. Once you sign-up, a Zoom registration link will be emailed to you a few days prior to the training date.

  • June 24, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
