Heppe Chiropractic is proud to offer the only 15K race in Fredericksburg with a beautiful course that runs along the Rappahannock River and through the historic streets of downtown Fredericksburg and along the Heritage Trail and Canal Path. The course starts and ends at Riverfront Park off of Sophia Street. We had a great turnout last year and we expect this year to be even better! A post-race award ceremony will be held at Water’s End Brewery with lots of prizes and fun to be had!
Our featured Charity for the race is Mental Health America of Fredericksburg. Founded in 1955 by local citizens, Mental Health America of Fredericksburg (MHAfred) is our community’s oldest nonprofit 501(c)3 charitable organization addressing all aspects of mental health and mental illness. As a catalyst for enhanced access to mental health treatment and services, MHAfred identifies emerging trends and unmet needs through its HELPLINE Provider Resource, builds coalitions to address gaps in services, and advocates to secure funding streams for “incubator” programs created collaboratively to serve unmet needs.
