Human Trafficking in the Fredericksburg Area – Awareness Program

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) Fredericksburg Area Branch is sponsoring a presentation by Lieutenant Colonel Delbert Myrick and other members of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Department on human trafficking in our area. The program will focus on human trafficking and its impact on individuals, as well as the critical role the community plays in addressing this issue.

The program is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the program.

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month.  Attendees are encouraged to wear blue. The primary color associated with human trafficking is blue, symbolizing solidarity and support for victims.
