Join the Fredericksburg Area Museum for Juneteenth: Honoring Our “Wazee” (Elders), a special program hosted by Ms. Eunice Haigler in Market Square.
Experience powerful history presentations and artistic performances that celebrate the legacy of Juneteenth and honor the wisdom of our elders. This free, family-friendly event invites the community to come together to reflect, learn, and celebrate.
The museum’s gallery spaces will be open from10:00am to 5:00pm, featuring the new Living Legacies exhibition, which highlights stories of emancipation and resilience, along with special family activities.
