Ben Culwell: Restaurant Week 2024
Maggies After Hours Special Event.
Dinner and History.

We are returning to our very popular History events. Spend an evening with dinner at Maggie’s on one of four days during Restaurant Week.

Wednesday July 31
6:00 PM start time

We will provide a building tour and narrative on:

Hidden “Easter Eggs” within the building.
Fredericksburg Art, photos, artifacts, objects and their relevance to the building and town.
The history of the almost 200 year old building, some of the previous owners, tenants and adjacent properties.
Hayscale and Jail Alley behind the property and their role in Fredericksburg history.
We will also show many of the artifacts that were uncovered during the renovation of the building.
Each night you will be the first to see one of four new historic Fredericksburg items that will be going on permanent display at Maggie’s Downtown.
There will be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have and we should wrap up about 8:30to 9:00 PM

Included is dinner to include any of Maggie’s sandwiches, chips, drinks and dessert.

Price is $20.00 per person

A few notes:
Space is very limited to around 20 for each evening, and dinner will be held outside on our 2 level patio with an indoor backup plan for inclement weather. We will book reservations in the order they are received, will contact you via email for non refundable pre payment and will provide further details. Singles or groups of two will be combined with other groups, so be prepared to meet other locals.

Please email your request to [email protected] including your name, phone number, the number of people in your party and your preferred date. Ben Culwell: Restaurant Week 2024
