Join Fredericksburg Lodge No. 4, A.F. & A.M. in honoring our brethren who served in the American Revolution and the War of 1812, who now rest in the oldest Masonic Cemetery in the Western Hemisphere. This will be a memorable opportunity to see the Cemetery and pay respects to some of Fredericksburg’s most notable historic figures, including General George Weedon, General John Minor, Brigadier General Gustavus B. Wallace, Major Benjamin Day, and more! The event includes the following:
9AM Meet & Greet at the Lodge (803 Princess Anne St)
10AM Bagpipe Procession to the Masonic Cemetery (900 Charles St) with keynote address by Jack K. Lewis, Past Grand Master of Masons in Virginia
11AM – 1PM Open House Tours of the Lodge (back at 803 Princess Anne St) beginning with a welcome from our 2025 Master of the Lodge, Michael Dove, and a presentation on the military service of our brothers buried in the Cemetery by Shelby L. Chandler, Past District Deputy Grand Master of the Virginia Masonic Research District
