The Department of Music at the University of Mary Washington is proud to present an immersive evening with Simone Baron & Arco Belo, blending avant-garde chamber music, creative jazz and global folk. Led by dynamic composer, pianist and accordionist Simone Baron, Arco Belo has toured nationally and their music has been featured in well-known jazz publications, Downbeat and Jazz Times.
The department is excited to host a composition/performance workshop at 5pm and concert at 8pm on Friday, November 7th.
