Book lovers and dog enthusiasts alike have a new reason to celebrate with the grand opening of Tales & Tails, a one-of-a-kind bookstore in downtown Fredericksburg offering thousands of new book titles alongside charming dog-themed merchandise. Located at 1010 Charles Street, Tales & Tails officially opens its doors on Saturday, May 24th , welcoming the community to a warm, rustic space where great stories and four-legged friends go paw in hand.
To mark the grand opening, Tales & Tails will host a weekend of festivities including an exclusive bookmark, free pup cups for furry visitors, book giveaways, and an adoptable pup. Well behaved and leashed dogs are welcome on the dog patio where owners can mobile order a coffee and a book directly to them.
The shop features fiction and non-fiction titles across all genres, a cozy children’s reading room, and a unique retail section stocked with everything from dog toys and treats to games and puzzles. Upstairs, visitors will find 3 meeting rooms with charming dog themes which can be booked free of charge. Finally, the store will serve locally roasted coffee with a variety of pastries.
