Join Historic Germanna on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm as we honor all veterans by illuminating the grounds of the Historic Germanna Visitor Center with luminaries and a special presentation featuring guest speaker Bill Shugarts. Mr. Shugarts is a Vietnam veteran and co-founder of Fawn Lake Veterans, Wilderness Community Church Veterans and Tabernacle UMC Veterans.
Interested in honoring a veteran? Sponsor a luminary for $20 each. Your donation to Historic Germanna supports the work of one of Central Virginia’s most unique public history sites. Luminaries will be identified with the veteran’s name and service and then lit on the night of the event.
