Fredericksburg is no stranger to celebrating presidents, especially Washington who lived here and whose mother is buried here.  This historic area offers plenty of things to do to celebrate Presidents’ Day.

George Washington’s Birthday

Let’s not forget that George Washington’s birthday is what started Presidents’ Day.  Celebrate Washington’s birthday at his boyhood home at Ferry Farm with fun activities for the whole family.

James Monroe

The James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library, houses the country’s largest collection of artifacts and documents related to the fifth president of the United States, including the famous Monroe Doctrine desk.

Presidents Walking Tour
