FXBG Walks – Unique Guided Walking Tours of Fredericksburg
FXBG Walks is a guided walking tour of Fredericksburg, Virginia, led by historian and history teacher Barbra.
Tours will dive into unique sites and stories that can only be experienced in Fredericksburg.
Tours happen rain or shine.
The tours will cover about one mile and last 1.5-2 hours.
A short break halfway through each tour to sit down and drink water (provided!) in air-conditioning.
Tickets are $15 per person, plus $1 processing fee (children under 10 are free) and must be purchased in advance online or at the Visitor Center.
October 8 – Fredericksburg Feminists: Sisters in Suffrage
Learn about early suffrage efforts in Virginia and Fredericksburg and the local heroes who helped it happen. Celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment.
November 12 – Right up your Alley
Explore the back streets and untold stories of Fredericksburg. Stroll along some of the city’s oldest alleyways and learn about the lifeways and activities of the communities within them.
December 10 – Retro Retails: Christmas Shopping in Downtown in the 1950’s
We’ll walk you back in time along Caroline Street showcasing plenty of old photos and ads to show off mid-century Fredericksburg.
