Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair to run from July 28-August 6

Fair LogoFrom Friday, July 28th to Sunday, August 6th, the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds will play host to the oldest fair of its kind in the United States: the Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair. The petting zoo has adorable farm animals that will delight guests of all ages, and the fair even has a camel available for rides (“Watch out, they spit”). Refreshments at the Fair will consist of classic carnival food, as well as local vendors such as Battlefield Kettle Corn and Sparky’s BBQ. Partake in other events such as the Parachute Jump and Golf Cart Drag Races. The fair even has a beautiful museum at the front of the fairgrounds, detailing the history of this classic event.

The Fredericksburg Fair will also feature a number of exciting events, from DJ concerts to monster truck rides. They will have theme nights as well, including Military Appreciation Day on Monday, July 31st. Any active, reservist, or retired service member will receive free admission. The fair will also host Half Price Tuesday on August 1st, College Night on August 2nd, and Educator’s Appreciation Night on August 3rd.
