Fredericksburg is often associated with its vastly historical, 40-block downtown, or its shop-laced streets of Central Park. But some of the greatest Fredericksburg region locations are actually farms, available to the public for visits. And this autumn, there is no better place to enjoy the season than these rural Fredericksburg classics. Here are some great spots to have some Fredericksburg Farm Fun:
- Braehead Farm – This family owned farm was first established in 1937, and is the last standing farm within the City of Fredericksburg. This October, Braehead will be hosting its annual Fall Festival every weekend. Guests can enjoy the hayrides, corn maze, Sunflower walk, and pumpkin patch that Braehead has to offer. Swing by the Farm Kitchen for homemade Kettle Korn, apple cider, and pumpkin ice cream. Braehead is a lovely spot to enjoy the October outdoors. Passes are $12.
- Snead’s Farm – Head over to Snead’s Farm to enjoy their unlimited hayrides and pumpkin patch. This lovely farm in Caroline County is excited to host you for some wonderful fall activities.
- Belvedere Plantation – Right on the border of Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County, Belvedere Plantation will be hosting its Fall Harvest Festival every Thursday-Sunday (and Columbus Day) until November 2nd…in addition to fireworks every Saturday night!
Keep up to date with all the fun fall events in Fredericksburg here.
