Celebrate the holiday season with one of the Fredericksburg region’s most beloved traditions, VRE’s Santa Train, departing from Fredericksburg on Saturday, December 13. The Fredericksburg Visitor Center at 601 Caroline Street will once again serve as an official in-person ticket location for the Fredericksburg station. Below you’ll find everything you need to know before ticket sales open, including dates, prices, purchasing details, and what’s new for 2025.
Location: Fredericksburg Visitor Center (City Center) – 601 Caroline Street, Fredericksburg, VA
In-Person Ticket Sale Date: Monday, December 1
Time: Tickets go on sale at 10am. VRE staff will remain onsite until 12pm or until tickets sell out.
❄️How Ticket Sales Work:
- First-come, first-served. Tickets cannot be reserved or purchased in advance.
- Ticket Limit: Maximum of 5 tickets per person.
- Payment Options:
- $5 – Cash or check
- $6 – Credit card
Important: The ticket line will extend outside, so please dress for the weather.
