Tattoo culture takes center stage in Fredericksburg this weekend as the 3rd Annual FXBG Tattoo Invitational returns to the Fredericksburg Convention Center from June 26–28, 2026. Whether you’re looking for your next tattoo, appreciate incredible artistry, or simply enjoy discovering unique events, this three-day invitational offers an unforgettable experience.
Presented in partnership with Black Horse Tattoo Studio, the FXBG Tattoo Invitational has quickly grown into one of the region’s premier tattoo events. This year’s invitational features talented artists from 14 states and dozens of cities across the country, making Fredericksburg a destination for tattoo enthusiasts from throughout the Mid-Atlantic and beyond.
Visitors can watch live tattooing throughout the weekend, meet nationally recognized artists, browse vendors offering artwork, apparel, jewelry, and tattoo-related merchandise, and experience the creativity and craftsmanship that define today’s tattoo community.
“What started as a regional show is quickly becoming a national destination,” says Emiliano Gabaldon, owner of Black Horse Tattoo Studio and founder of the event. Fredericksburg’s rich tattoo heritage, combined with the area’s vibrant arts scene, has helped the Invitational attract artists and visitors from across the country.
