Celebrate Hugh Mercer’s 300th Birthday in Fredericksburg
2026 marks the 300th birthday of Brigadier General Hugh Mercer, a soldier, physician, and Revolutionary War hero with deep ties to Fredericksburg. To honor his life and legacy, the Hugh Mercer Apothecary is hosting a series of engaging events throughout January.
