- Stage Door Productions presents ‘A Christmas Carol’ – The local community theater’s wonderful adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic story still has three shows left, ending with the matinee show this Sunday, December 17th. Stage Door is located in the Allstate Community Theater of Fredericksburg on Caroline Street.
- Riverside Center for the Performing Arts presents ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ – The classic holiday story will be performed by the troupe at Riverside until December 31st. Purchase tickets.
- Academy of Ballet presents ‘The Nutcracker’ – On Saturday, December 16th and Sunday, December 17th, Fredericksburg’s Academy of Ballet will fulfill their annual tradition of performing ‘The Nutcracker’ at James Monroe High School. “We pride ourselves on our professional quality costumes, sets, and choreography, and we hope that we can continue giving the magic of the Nutcracker for many years to come,” said Hannah Vojsak, Artistic Director of the Academy of Ballet.
- Christmas Music at St. George’s Episcopal Church – Choirs and instrumental ensembles will perform gorgeous pieces of music at St. George’s on Sunday, December 17th at 3pm. Classic holiday tunes will be performed in various, eclectic styles of music.
- Chamber Chorale of Fredericksburg presents Sounds of the Season – Swing by Fredericksburg Baptist Church this Saturday, December 16h at 2:00pm to enjoy gorgeous holiday music.
