On the weekend of February 2-4, the Fredericksburg Art Commission is bringing the fourth annual Love FXBG Art to downtown. Love FXBG Art is a wonderful way to support the art community of Fredericksburg, as it will feature an online sale on works from local artists!
Love FXBG Art is partially meant to support artists who may only want to have a temporary website, so that consumers can spend the weekend looking at the pieces they would not normally find online. This year, Love FXBG Art is also featuring artists in different downtown stores and galleries, on Saturday, February 3rd from 11am-3pm. The participating artists and businesses will be released soon.
“The community is so supportive,” Kenneth Lecky, Chair of the Fredericksburg Arts Commission and Co-Owner of LibertyTown Arts Workshop, said. “We’ve got so many artists in our galleries for a city our size. I don’t know what the secret is, but I just know that the community has always supported the artists here.”
