Save the date for this Friday, April 7th, for one of the most exciting days in Fredericksburg Spring: Opening Day for the Fredericksburg Nationals.
When the FredNats played their first game in 2021, they immediately immersed the Fredericksburg community in excitement and fun. From watching our beloved team make it to the playoffs last season, to participating in the fun shows and games between innings, the FredNats have brought so much joy to this city.
Plus, you can take a picture with Gus, the FredNats’ mascot.
One of the most exciting additions this season is the grand opening of the Bud Light Seltzer bar in left field, as well as the newly covered pavilions in right field. Fans have been excited for these additions for a long time, and cannot wait to enjoy them at Virginia Credit Union Stadium.
Opening Day will start at 7:05pm on Friday, as the FredNats will face (and beat, of course) the Lynchburg Hillcats. Tickets are not yet sold out, so purchase them ASAP!
