  1. Adventure Brewing Eagle Village – Grab a FredRed Ale and sit on the patio of Adventure Brewing’s 22401 location.
  2. Agora Downtown Coffee 🐶 – Agora is one of the most beloved coffee shops in Fredericksburg, and is complimented by a beautiful patio right out back. 
  3. Allman’s Bar-B-Que 🐶 – Allman’s has been voted one of the top BBQ joints in Virginia, and is a wonderful spot to gorge outdoors. 
  4. The Alpine Chef 🐶 – Located right next to Fredericksburg Station, this German restaurant has outdoor seating that overlooks the hustle and bustle of downtown Fredericksburg.
  5. Basilico New York Deli – Enjoy a calzone or deli sandwich, as well as Basilico’s outdoor seating.  
  6. Bello Manzo – This new Italian sandwich shop on Caroline Street has tables available on its front patio.
  7. Benny Vitali’s 🐶 – Enjoy a slice of GIANT New York-Style pizza outdoors at Benny’s. 
  8. Billiken’s Smokehouse 🐶 – Billiken’s is notorious for its outdoor seating, where you can enjoy a cocktail, delicious barbecue, and wonderful music on weekends. 
  9. Brock’s Riverside Grill – The newly renovated outdoor bar at Brock’s is pristine, and offers a gorgeous view of the Rappahannock River (as well as affordable drink options). 
  10. Castiglia’s Italian Restaurant & Sky Bar 🐶 – Perhaps the greatest selling point for a fun night at Castiglia’s is its Sky Bar, where you can sip on delicious drinks while overlooking William Street. 
  11. Colonial Tavern, Home to the Irish Brigade 🐶 – As you drive into Fredericksburg from Lafayette Blvd, swing by Colonial Tavern to enjoy an Irish stout on its patio.
  12. Curio Wine Bar – A new addition to downtown Fredericksburg, Curio now shares a gorgeous courtyard with Wild Hare Cider. 
  13. Curitiba Art Cafe 🐶 – Located on Caroline Street, Curitiba has a gorgeous courtyard behind its cafe. 
  14. Deutschland Downtown 🐶 – This authentic German restaurant on William Street has a dog-friendly back patio.
  15. Eats Burgers 🐶 – Eats has quickly made a name for itself as a prime location for delicious burgers, which you can savor at their outdoor tables. 
  16. Eileen’s Bakery and Cafe 🐶 – Enjoy a delicious pastry on the stunning courtyard of Eileen’s. 
  17. Fahrenheit 132 – This upscale steakhouse on William Street has limited outdoor seating, where you can sip on top-shelf wine and delve into some of the highest quality steak in Virginia. 
  18. Foode 🐶 – This wonderful restaurant, whose building is deeply rooted in Fredericksburg’s vast history, has outdoor seating directly out front. Enjoy their rotating menu of southern meals in the brisk weather of fall. 
  19. Happy Endings 🐶 – This blast of a dive bar in the Canal Quarter District has outdoor seating in front of the building. 
  20. Harry’s Downtown 🐶 – Harry’s outdoor seating is located right next to the bar and overlooks William Street. It is a great spot to enjoy Harry’s rotating list of premiere draft beer. 
  21. J. Brian’s Tap Room 🐶 – A great spot to enjoy J. Brian’s fantastic happy hour deals is its back patio, which has recently added multi-colored and white  lights. Once Daylight Savings ends on November 5th, J. Brian’s is the location at which you can sip on a 5pm beer at a beautifully-lit patio. 
  22. Maggie’s Subs – The multi-level courtyard of Maggie’s is relaxing, intimate, and beautiful. 
  23. Mason-Dixon Cafe 🐶 – This classic cafe in the Canal Quarter District is great for both brunch and an outdoor dining experience.
  24. Miso Asian Grill – This Japanese grill and sushi bar is the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoor weather.

  25. Orofino – The outdoor seating at Orofino is in its side alley, providing you with a European-inspired dining experience. There is no better way to enjoy Orofino’s authentic Spaghetti Carbonara than in its outdoor seating. 
  26. Rebellion Bourbon Bar & Kitchen 🐶 – Rebellion’s outdoor seating is directly in front of the restaurant, and is perfect to drink first-rate bourbon while enjoying the fall weather. 
  27. Red Dragon Brewery 🐶 – Red Dragon’s outdoor seating is located to the right of the brewery, and is accompanied by the view of a gorgeous mural. 
  28. Rey Azteca – Located in Eagle Village, Rey Azteca is a beloved Mexican restaurant with outdoor seating in front of the restaurant.
  29. Ristorante Renato 🐶 – One of Fredericksburg’s most beloved Italian restaurants recently renovated their outdoor patio into a state-of-the-art location, perfect for outdoor dining. 
  30. Sammy T’s 🐶 – This Fredericksburg staple has not only amazing vegetarian options (as well as meals for carnivores), but outdoor dining that allows you to enjoy the bustle of Caroline Street while also enjoying your food and drinks. 
  31. Sedona Taphouse 🐶 – This popular chain has both delicious food and a first-rate taplist of craft beer, as well as a beautiful, dog-friendly patio. Enjoy Sedona’s exquisite Shrimp & Grits right by the fire pit. 
  32. Soup & Taco 2 🐶 – Soup & Taco 2 has a couple tables in front of their building, where you can enjoy their delicious food and cervezas. 
  33. Sunken Well Tavern 🐶 – Last year, Sunken Well renovated their side patio, which now has a cozy feel to enjoy a delicious brunch. 
  34. Tapa Rio 🐶 – One of the greatest views of the Rappahannock River is from the patio of Tapa Rio. Sit on the canopy while enjoying some delicious tapas. 
  35. Wild Hare Cider Pub 🐶 – The revered courtyard of Wild Hare is the perfect spot to taste a flight of Virginia ciders.
