Mellow Mushroom Fredericksburg has made a considerable amount of charitable partnerships in the past few years. Their events to support these charities have been meaningful and successful. This Monday, February 13th, Mellow Mushroom will be hosting an exciting event: Palentine’s Day Dinner with SPCA of Fredericksburg.
From 3pm-8pm, 15% of Mellow Mushroom purchases will benefit the SPCA, both for dine-in and to-go orders. If you would like proceeds from your order to go to the SPCA, please drop off the receipts in the front basket. Not to mention…some adorable foster dogs will be available for cuddles on the enclosed patio!
Candace Jennings, Catering Coordinator for Mellow Mushroom Fredericksburg, hopes that Palentine’s Day will raise awareness on the assistance that the SPCA needs in regard to not only the foster pets, but the need for food, litter, and other resources. If you meet a loving pup who you would like to adopt, you can speak with an SPCA representative at Palentine’s Day to learn more about the adoption process.
“Who doesn’t love a cuddly little buddy?” Jennings said. “They’re such great companions!”
Jennings said that since there are so many animals who need homes around Fredericksburg, the SPCA is such a great organization to help with such a cause. And when Mellow Mushroom finds great organizations to team up with locally, they want these organizations to succeed and benefit from these events.
For Jennings and the rest of the team at Mellow Mushroom Fredericksburg, it is important that animals are rescued and find a great home. They are excited to support SPCA of Fredericksburg, and will continue to host events with amazing organizations such as Cooking Autism and Loisann’s Hope House.
