In its 25th year, Stage Door Productions has been a wonderful community theater for children and teens to express their creativity. With plays at the Allstate Community Theater of Fredericksburg, Stage Door has brought a wonderful joy to actors and audiences alike.
Stage Door Productions is committed to entertaining and inspiring attendees, and to providing an outlet for local youth to channel their artistic passions. Stage Door has made its goal to continually evolve the theater scene in Fredericksburg, and with its theater directly on Caroline Street, it is more than succeeding.
In 1999, Stage Door began its run of plays with Last Night of Ballyhoo, Scrooge, and On Golden Pond. It performed nine plays in 2023, ending the year with a wonderful performance of A Christmas Carol. Now, 25 years after opening its doors, Stage Door is preparing a lineup of 2024 plays that is sure to bring excitement and passion to Fredericksburg.
Stage Door Productions’ beginnings as a creative experiment has provided the youth of Fredericksburg with artistic opportunities early in life; there is no better endeavor than that. And as it progresses as a theater, there is pure anticipation as to what they will bring to Fredericksburg.
