Enjoy the great outdoors at Alum Spring Park, a hidden gem in Fredericksburg. New in 2025 – Carl’s now accepts payment by credit card!  Pop in for a delicious gourmet soda at Sippin’ Pop located inside the Made in Virginia Store.  Mix and match recipes to make a flavor combination that is truly unique.  For a treat that is more savory (or sweet) stop by Jus Pop’n Gourmet Popcorn.  Choose from their list of Savory, Sweet, and even Vegan offerings.  Don’t forget to try their flavor of the month.

 

Complete the Otterly-Amazing Downtown Scavenger Hunt

Turn your day into an adventure by participating in the self-guided Otterly-Amazing Scavenger Hunt! Search for the bronze otters as you stroll through Fredericksburg’s historic streets, enjoy the shops and restaurants, and learn why Fredericksburg is “Otterly-Amazing.” If you search hard enough, you may even see a real otter in the Rappahannock River!  Make sure to stop by the Visitor Center at 601 Caroline Street when you complete your hunt to collect a prize.

Card Making at Fredericksburg Food Co-op – March 26th
Join Elody Shojinaga at the co-op to make cheery spring or Easter cards to help brighten a senior’s day.  Cards will be donated to Healthy Generations Agency on Aging to help support their senior programs.

Fredericksburg SPCA Compassionate Care Spring Camp – March 24th – March 30th
Give your children the opportunity to connect with animals and become advocates for animal welfare. Compassionate Care Camp is designed for ages 6-13, and introduces kids to animal care, career fields, and the meaningful work done by the Fredericksburg SPCA.

BrickFair LEGO FAN Expo – March 29th – 30th
It’s a LEGO lover’s dream come true.  View models from over 200 exhibitors, participate in interactive activities and unleash your creative side in the build-your-own areas.

30th Annual Johnny P. Johnson Teen Art Show – March 7th – April 26th
Explore art by local teens at the Fredericksburg Branch of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library. For over 25 years, CRRL has provided a forum for area teen artists in grades 9-12 to be recognized for their talent.
