The new location will be held at James Monroe High School (2300 Washington Ave)

Festival in the Streets - July 4th Downtown Street Closures
The Fourth in Fredericksburg Craft Show event will require multiple street closures from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Impacted streets include:
600-800 blocks of Sophia Street
100 block of Hanover Street
100 block of Charlotte Street

Old Mill Park Fireworks Viewing and Parking info

- The gates will open at 7 AM on Friday, July 4, 2025
- The park entrance will be shut down to vehicle traffic upon reaching capacity. Please note that once the park reaches capacity, the park gates will be closed to vehicles. Park visitors who have paid to enter will be free to leave and return the same day without paying, however there is no guarantee that there will be parking available and spaces will not be saved.
- No fireworks of any kind will be permitted by attendees inside the park. This will be strictly enforced. Possession of fireworks within the park will be cause for criminal prosecution and removal from the park.
- Parking in and around the park will be restricted, with portions of Riverside Drive and Caroline Street being signed as ‘no parking’; obey all posted signs and other parking barriers. Failure to obey posted ‘no parking’ signs will result in being ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
- Non-resident park entrance fee is $15 per vehicle or $10 per person for walk-ins. Fees do not apply to residents of the City of Fredericksburg (22401) or Stafford County. Please be prepared to show proof of home address. Only credit card payment accepted.
- Walk-in visitors, please follow signs to the walk–in entrance.
Virginia Credit Union Stadium Fireworks Info
Fireworks at 9 PM at the Virginia Credit Union Stadium
- Fireworks can be viewed from the stadium and Fredericksburg Convention Center parking lots.
- Pedestrians are not permitted in the roadways surrounding the Stadium. All pedestrians should remain off of sidewalks and active roadways. This includes Carl D. Silver and the traffic circle in front of the Stadium.
- Do not improperly stop or park vehicles on the roadways around the Stadium. Vehicles causing traffic hazards will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
