Haley’s Honey Meadery in the Canal Quarter District, known for its mead (honey wine) and savory cocktails, has established itself as a unique, premiere destination in downtown Fredericksburg. Now, as of last Sunday, Haley’s Honey Meadery Fredericksburg has joined the city’s brunch scene.
All day every Sunday, from 10am-5pm, Haley’s Honey Meadery will serve a brunch menu, which includes bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys. Tonya Haley, owner of Haley’s Honey Meadery, was inspired by the hit brunches in her hometown of Petersburg. After witnessing the success of brunches in Fredericksburg, Haley decided that it was time to join in.
In addition to the brunch drinks, Haley’s will serve four brunch items: avocado toast, quiche, charcuterie, and a pastry board. Haley said that these items will pair perfectly with not only a mimosa or Bloody Mary, but many of her delicious meads and cocktails.
Haley wants a Sunday at her meadery to be a “fun day of just relaxing.” She is excited to provide guests with an additional Fredericksburg brunch option, particularly one in the Canal Quarter District; she feels that spreading out the brunch locations will be effective. Haley’s Honey Meadery is thrilled to serve brunch to their guests, and to continue treating Fredericksburg to their incredible mead.
