As Window Wonderland continues in downtown Fredericksburg, many participating businesses went above and beyond by beautifully decorating their storefronts. Before you enjoy downtown’s evening exterior illumination, check out some of the gorgeous holiday windows in Fredericksburg:
- The Dragon’s Den & Treasures – The Christmas trees in the windows of Dragon’s Den are perfectly lit and beautifully decorated.
- Fraser Wood Elements – Nutcrackers are a staple during the holidays, and at Fraser Wood Elements, not only can you see them in the window, but you can purchase them as well! All of the impeccably hand-crafted nutcrackers in the window are available to purchase.
- Goolrick’s – While this classic Fredericksburg is still under renovation, a beautiful Nativity mural is on display in the window. Swing by to check out this pristine work.
- Made in Virginia Store – Home to the new Sippin’ Pop, Made in Virginia Store has blanketed its window with snow, reindeer, and other holiday nic-nacs.
- Maggie’s Subs – When shopping downtown, hide your presents while walking by Maggie’s: his highness, The Grinch, is riding his sleigh, with Max at the helm, to steal (and eventually save) Christmas in Fredericksburg.
- Ristorante Renato – The beloved Italian restaurant on William Street has decorated its storefront “Brooklyn Style:” with a miniature, borderline-operational Coney Island displayed.
- The Southern Bagel & Provisions – The new, beloved bagel shop on Caroline Street is decorated for the occasion; with holiday decorations, from a mailbox for Santa to presents including a beautiful bike.
- Whittingham – Perhaps the famous window downtown is decorated this year with beautiful miniatures dressed for the holidays, ice skating in one window, and waiting outside a train station in the other; the latter is pretty fitting for Fredericksburg!
