Tonight, October 6th during First Friday, the Fredericksburg Visitor Center will play host to Scarecrow Fest, featuring festive, seasonal activities in honor of the Fredericksburg Scarecrow Contest. The Scarecrow Contest started this past Wednesday, and will run through Thursday, October 31st (Halloween!).
To participate in the Scarecrow Contest, grab a map from the Visitor Center and find all of the decorated scarecrows at participating businesses. You can vote for your favorite scarecrows at the businesses or on our website. Admission to both Scarecrow Fest and Scarecrow Contest is free.
