This October, Fredericksburg will get just a little spookier!
Scarecrow Fest is returning for its 11th year, featuring festive, seasonal activities for all to enjoy. Catch community favorites like the Scarecrow Fall Fest on First Friday, Treats on the Streets, and Halloween Movies in the Park.
Don’t forget the annual Scarecrow Contest starting on October 1st and running through October 31st.
To participate in the Scarecrow Contest, grab a map from the Visitor Center (601 Caroline Street) and find all of the decorated scarecrows at participating businesses downtown. You can vote for your favorite scarecrows at the businesses or on our website.
